Helix in Europe

Most major European insurance groups have used the London market at some time in the past.  Very often these may have involved specialist lines of business or minority “follow” placements behind major continental reinsurers.   In any event the comments made elsewhere on this website on broker replacement and/or consolidation apply equally well here.

To improve communication with our European clients we have staff who are fluent in French, German and Italian. In addition Helix are regular attendees at the major European conferences and are always available to travel to meet clients in their offices to discuss problems and ways to resolve them.

To successfully collect European ceded debts from the London insurance and reinsurance market it is essential to have access to and use of the unique systems and processes that exist (eg CLASS, LORS, LOC's).  Helix has full capability in this area.
